This doesn't help you but I sold one a while back. It was one of the earlier models and it only worked reliably with hot high quality ammo. It absolutely hated cheap ammo.

I actually read that recently. Was it the old 44, or the new 44V

It was older, I bought it probably a year after it came out.

I have one I'll sell. My wife used it to train up into her Glock 19. Comes with two magazines. Located in corpus will be near Austin and Brenham for holidays. Email me Lazurasdc at yahoo if interested.

It's not the V version just fYI. Think it's the previous generation. Maybe 2 years old.
