My son (Sq 8) and Micah (Sq 16) graduated from High School together and are both fish in the Corps of Cadets. Micah was on his way home Friday and was involved in a head on collision. Thank the Lord that there were no internal or brain injuries, but he has many broken bones and facial fractures. Please consider donating to his family if you feel so inclined.

Well he's got prayers going for him and he's young. Two good things.

When I left for college, I thought I was a professional, skilled driver. In hindsight, I had little more than two years experience operating a full size vehicle and was frequently pushing the envelope on my commutes to/from CS. (not that Micah was doing that). Only by the grace of God did I not end up in a hospital bed or worse. Prayers for Micah and his family.

These kids in the Corps are also bone tired. I do not know the particulars of the accident, but it is a concern we have with our son. He got home Friday around 10:30pm after being up since 4:30am. All we can do is trust their safety is in the Lord's hands.

This and Silver Taps have chipped away at his "invincibility".

Update:

He went through 5 hours of surgery today to begin repairing 14 fractures to include compound fractures in his legs and arm. They are preparing for more surgeries this week. Please keep him in your prayers.

Heavenly Father, if you are willing. please give this young man healing and his family ability to pay the bills. In Jesus' name, Father. Amen

Our daughter is a skilled driver and USAF trained pilot.

In 2016, a drunk crossed the wide median and hit her nearly head on, none of that did her much good. She was boxed in and could either take the hit, or take out the driver in the next lane. She avoided head, spinal, or internal injuries, thank God, but shattered the leg bones above her right ankle (bone sticking out). Took her 18 months and a couple of surgeries to get back in the cockpit.

Yes, we've all been young and stupid, but sometimes accidents are….accidents

The support is so overwhelming that I cannot thank you all individually. Please understand that it is incredibly appreciated. I texted with my fish tonight and they are following this as well. I have spent most of my life trying to explain the Aggie Network to him and this is just more proof of the value of our University. It is not about wins or losses in sports, it is about our fellowship founded in being Aggies.

They want Micah to get better and join their ranks again. Your prayers and donations are a vessel of God's grace that will see him through to that.
