If you've been following Aggie Football, you may have seen some pretty exciting news recently.

Our own Layne Gerke #26 was awarded a scholarship after beginning his career at Texas A&M as a walk-on.
For our family, it's been pretty special watching the work that goes on behind the scenes finally pay off. From growing up in Hallettsville to getting the opportunity to play at Kyle Field, Layne has kept his head down, gone to work and made the most of every opportunity he's been given!

And we know there are plenty of Aggies who appreciate a good walk-on story.

What do y'all think? Is there anything better in college football than watching a walk-on earn a scholarship?

It also hits close to home for us at ForEverlast. We've spent nearly 30 years building products for people who hunt, fish and spend their time outdoors. It started right here in Hallettsville, and our Aggie roots have always been a big part of who we are.

So while Saturdays are all about Aggie Football right now, fall also means hunting season is here! If you're headed to the deer lease, duck blind or anywhere in between, check out our gear at Foreverlast.com.

To celebrate our #26 earning scholarship, use code TEXAGS at checkout for FREE SHIPPING on our entire website!

We're proud to build products for the outdoors and even prouder to have another reason to yell a little louder for the Aggies this season!

Congrats, #26. You earned it.
