If these guys are nearby, the pigs aren't. These feeders are between where I am and the creek bottom along where the hogs frequently travel.

I absolutely cannot believe that feeder is still standing! You must have well-mannered pigs. Ours have 2 inch pipe, and we still have to stake them down with t posts, and fence around them.

Back out here this afternoon. Feeders are full, camera batteries changed, beef jerky is good, green kill light is installed and operational!

This monster showed up this morning. Looking for him to make a return trip!

If you don't have cloud cover, you can read a book with the full moon. Should be easy to spy pigs at your feeder and see the crosshairs of you scope.

Well, no crosshairs on the 50 Beowulf I'm trying out. Has a Romeo 7 red dot. I either missed or buried in the shoulder. No blood trail anywhere. Going with the 450 Bushmaster on Tuesday!

Sitting here with a now numb butt, patiently waiting for a green light. Saw it briefly an hour ago but, alas, it was just a rabbit. The bait is set, the perfect rifle selected, wind, what little there is, to my face. I've patterned them but now wonder if they have patterned me. Time away from other duties is dwindling fast. I fear there may not be another opportunity until Sunday for there is travel to B/CS in-store and clay targets to break on Friday between bouts of heavy downpour. Perhaps the Aggiedome will provide respite.
