Horizon guns - based in Bryan and Shiner.

Any good or bad stories? Recommendations?

Derrick used to post here and from everything I have gathered, makes excellent rifles. I almost had him build me a custom one a few years back but went a different direction. We talked for a bit and he's incredibly knowledgeable. I've seen his rifles pop up on several YouTube videos of people that know how to shoot too.

TX Cowdoc is also a resident custom rifle maker. I don't have one of his but I think several folks on here do and he makes great stuff.

shiner is manufacturing and warehouse only. no storefront or willcall window.

Although, my buddy owns shiner tactical in shiner and he has a few in stock if you want to put your hands on them in that area.

As stated. Cow Doc. Great man, great Aggie, down to earth, honest, and builds beautiful firearms.

Horizon builds nice rifles. Have a buddy who has one. It shoots lights out. Wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I was in the market.

Thanks guys! When I looked at them, I didn't realize that the owner was an Aggie. That makes it an easier decision.
