2 cocks and a hen showed up yesterday evening......they then flew from the roof to a close oak tree and roosted all night there. They just flew off.

I can't leave my pickup parked outside at Mom's. Those bastadges love red Chevy pickups.

In the late 80's I worked on a ranch in Cline that had one that ran with a flock of wild turkeys.

We have a Peacock Park in Flower Mound and a street with "Watch out for the Peacocks signage." I take that street normally twice a day and see them frequently..

I'm not going to lie, it was only last week that I learned that females are peahens and are not called peacocks too.

They are all over West Houston. Used to have them in my yard every few days.

They are lucky it was only in my front yard and I lived on a busy street. Definitely would have eaten one.

We have neighbors about 300yds from us that are through trees and one house. For a couple of weeks I had no idea who was dying until I saw the peacocks up on their roof...

I wish those birds would wander into my yard and I could trap and sell them. those with a full tail are very expensive and sell very quickly on Craigslist.

We had peacocks for years.

Most people's complaint was how badly they can scratch up a paint job if they get on top of a car. Our neighbors used to only come visit in old farm pickups.

I loved to go out at night when they were all on the windmill and the wellhouse roof and yell "Hello" and then hear them respond. And then I'd yell "Hello" again.

Fun times were had by all.
