Does anyone have any thoughts or experience using the Jackery 2200 Watt Portable Power Station described in the topic line?
These units are currently on sale for $699 at Lowe's or $799 on Amazon. Apparently there is only a 30 day or no warranty on these units so I'm looking for any information available. I would like to use the unit for tailgating or some camping. Thanks.

DO you have a link?

I bought 2 Jackery 1000 V2's during Prime day for $349 ea, they charged up, but I have not really put them to the test.

I also have 2 EcoFlow DELTA 2 Power Station; 1024 Whrs I bought last year. They have been great as backup power supplies for my fridge and a couple portable freezers.

Highly recommend these.
Also, I wanted to buy 2 so I don't have a single point of failure with the batteries. The old, 2 is one, and 1 is none.

You can get a Pecron 2k watt-hours for $629. You can also get two 1k wh Anker Solix for $398 ea.. Advantages of two 1k wh vs. one 2k wh are smaller footprint and less weight if you use just one, ability to charge one while using the other (many do however have pass-through charging, so check into that), and most importantly - if you only have one battery and one goes down, then you don't have any. If you have two and one goes down, you still have one.

Definitely check out the Ecoflow and Bluetti websites before you make a purchase decision.

What is your real usecase for asking? What would it power that a small quite inverter generator cant cover?

They are great for short term low power draw usage, especially if you get the optional solar panels for backfeeding but for sustained high draw like running a TV or other electronics they are a bad choice imo. I would put that money towards a super quiet honda portable gen unit instead.

While this topic is going… anyone used one of these battery power boxes to run a pellet grill before?

A 2k-2.2k wattage box should last you a single overnight cook atleast i would think. Looks like upwards of 500-600w to get element and grill running then 50-60w continuous draw on average. A 2000w battery should last around 35hr once on the running wattage per Google math.

YT comes through, someone tested this exact question. Although each grill will have different consumption so his test on the dinky 300 unit isn't a great example for long term cook but does show the boxes can get them up and cooking.

Great deal on a much larger unit. Comments say if you buy it and technically have it powering any part of your home (Doubt IRS would ever come heck that), it qualifies for the 30% government refund credit since its over 3kw. The federal energy credit goes away in the new year. That would make this unit just under $700 new

Another similar unit.
