Identification Features:
  • Growth habit: Low-growing, mat-forming perennial weed that spreads aggressively through seeds, rhizomes, and stolons.
  • Leaves: Opposite, lance-shaped leaves with a slightly rough texture.
  • Stems: Can root at nodes when they touch the ground.
