Has anyone tried this bag for EDC and CCing a glock?

I am unsure about the safety of the secret pistol compartment, and if there is a solution to making it better.

It seems really big for EDC CC purposes unless you hike for a living

Not too big if you have young kids and need to haul around diapers, extra clothes, wipes, snacks, water, toys, your own stuff, etc.

I have a Vertx Gamut EDC bag. I don't much have an answer or solution to your question but just something else to look at. Lots of YouTube videos led me to this one. The one I have looks 0% tactical which is what drew me to it more.

I like that eberlestock though

Do you use the hidden pistol pocket? If so, any issues you've had with it?

I do and have had no issues. You don't even know it's there. Given the pistol is not in a holster and the trigger is exposed, I do not keep a round in the chamber.

I have been using this exact bag for a few years as my computer work bag and carry in the pocket as well. I have not had any issues with it at all and my pistol fits quite nicely in the concealed compartment. Its practically unnoticeable due to the construction of the bag.

Thanks, I considered that approach as well. Maybe a small trigger guard too. I may consider this bag too if I don't' need the extra space.

I use the Switchblade for my work bag as well. It works well. It took a while to get used to the way the main compartment zips up, but that wasn't a big deal.

I do love their "Bang Bang" bag for a range bag. It is my favorite range bag. I did purchase the Recon bag for my chest rig. It is well made. My only complaint is that the rangefinder bag doesn't fit my rangefinder.
