Sorry for the clickbait title. It was not an accidental discharge from a firearm. It was an accidental discharge from a fire extinguisher. Needed a small pair of needle nose that were in my fishing tackle from the weekend trip to the Buffalo to work on my weed eater as I was trying to get the yard done in a limited period of time. Pulled the tackle box out and the carry strap hung around the fire extinguisher. I guess the safety pin either gave out or gave way.....

Reminds me I noticed that the keeper zip tie thing on my boat FE is missing. Pin was out as well but I replaced it. Need to replace that keeper thing.

Cleaning up a fire extinguisher discharge is a real pain the ass because the powder in some of these fire extinguishers can become corrosive when in contact with moisture. Any wiring or electronics it gets into is particularly sensitive.

You will forever find powder in your vehicle now. I am convinced that stuff replicates.

As a kid I got shoved in the back of an Isuzu Trooper because that's were us kids sit when it was crowded. I sat on and discharged the fire extinguisher. White power everywhere. I'm sure I'll get cancer one of these days from it.
