Camp CAMP was among the places damaged by flooding on the Guadalupe https://campcamp.org/

If you're not familiar with Camp CAMP, it's a summer camp for disabled children. Our late son, Holden loved going to camp there every summer and it continues to hold a very dear place in our hearts.

If you are able to contribute to help with their recovery please do.

This is a photo of Holden swimming at camp one year. His smile tells you all you need to know.

We'd always run into people we knew who worked at Methodist Hospital in SA who used their vacation to volunteer there.

I started going to camp there in 1985 when it was called Camp Christian. I'm almost 51 now and I am still friends with many people I met back in those days, I love that place! My church and our regional sister churches out grew Camp Christian and we built our own camp outside Gonzalez. When I think of camp, CC is the place I think of the most. Thank you for sharing this, I am glad your children get to experience it.

I've never personally been but we're big Camp CAMP supporters. My wife worked there in HS summers and now my oldest just finished her first summer as a CIT a couple of weeks ago. Was a hard week but she's doing another week in August; we're really proud of her. Hoping the rest of my kids follow her.

Same reaction as y'all. You don't realize how many people either have kids there, work there, etc. until you start talking about it.
