cledus.......I was spreading the word on this carbine to some of my buddies within the Winchester Collectors Assoc. to try to help sell it. There was some interest. I would pass on to you that that Post 64 Carbine is trending to more collection value as there was not many made and are fairly rare. They are kind of a "sleeper" in the Winchester collecting market right now. With the value of the shells not withstanding, that is a good price on that carbine. Imho would be a good investment for somebody.

You are only spending $550 for the rifle. The ammo is $200. You gotta have ammo.

Plus it's a heavy enough rifle to be light on recoil in a round that is in my opinion one of the best ever made. Shorter barrel...good for blinds...or brush!
