I know this isn't a new topic, but I have a trip planned in October to Coroba for a massive dove slaying, and am mostly wondering what's the best way to travel there and back?

I feel pretty good from other posts on what to bring, but mostly wondering the best way to get there, and get out of there? I did see where someone posted that the in country travel is the worst, and so am looking for recommendations on how to navigate that.

Thanks for any recommendations you may have, or anything else you wish to opine on.

I've been to Sierra Brava. 10 plus years ago so take this FWIW.

I've flown direct to BA then smaller flight to Cordoba. Also flown into Chile and then a quick flight direct over to Cordoba. I preferred the second option. But shop flight options and cost. Lodge rep should pick you up at the airport.

I was in Cordoba last year at this time. We flew Delta from Dallas to Buenos Aires and then I forgot the name of it but a regional carrier from BA to Cordoba. The airport in BA and Cordoba are small but efficient. They are very serious about the weight of your carryon luggage too.
As Boogs mentioned, someone from the lodge should meet you at baggage claim. Our flight from Atlanta was delayed by 16 hours so that put us in Cordoba on later flight too.
The guide took us directly from the airport to the hunting fields. I changed from my traveling clothes to my hunting clothes at the side of a harvested grain field. Then immediately started blasting dove, pigeons and parakeetos

I did IAH to DFW to BA on American and BA to Cordoba Airlineus Argentina about 2 years ago

The flights in BA were at Different airports

I think I researched flying through Chile, Miami, and Panama

It was cheaper to fly IAH through DFW than IAH to BA plus I met up with my uncle and cousin in DFW

if you fly to BA you will have to transfer airports to aeroparque in the city but it's straightforward. just leave yourself some time to transfer.

fly aerolineas to Cordoba. don't waste time with any lower cost airline

I have done it through BA which is a pain because you have to switch airports. Although we did mix in sight seeing and a good meal. I have done the Chile route and the Panama route all with United. Panama was fastest by far but you get into Cordoba in the middle of the night. Which wasn't too bad because we slept a few hours, got up, ate breakfast and went and shot doves. Early to bed the first night for sure. Have fun!!

Sierra B knows what they are doing … they'll have a recco for you. I recently flew through BA on a fishing trip and reached out to SB for their transfer guy and he was top notch. I had to overnight in BA on my trip and flew out of the big airport (eze) south and in to the smaller airport on my way back. No issues with transfers arranged with SB's guy. Flying areolinas Argentina was fine … just pay attention to gate changes and arrive early. You can't carry on fishing rods and that added some complications to check in at EZE but just added some time. You probably won't have that issue. Not an issue checking in at the Rio Grande airport on the return. You'll probably arrive into BA in the morning and be able to get to Cordoba same day… would shoot for that via Chile or BA. On another trip we had enough people to set up a charter for reasonable fair vs. Areolinas and that worked well. All arranged with sierra bravo.

Fly to BA. Get a hotel in recoleta. Take a shower, grab some beers at La Biela or one of the other outdoor cafes. Eat a great steak later that night - Fervor is a personal favorite. Get a good night sleep then head to the domestic airport and fly Aerolinas to Cordoba.
What do you boys want for breakfast BBQ ?.....OK Chili.
