Headed to port a in a couple weeks. It seems like all the guides I once knew retired or moved.

Can anyone recommend a redfish/trout guide in Port A / Rockport or hell, even Port O area?

I haven't fished with this guy yet, but I listen to him on the Bite Me Podcast. He seems like he'd be fun to fish with. He's out of Aransas Pass.

I've fished a half dozen times with Pierre Patrila - southbound fishing charters. He usually leaves from the marina under the causeway.

I fished with dean years ago when he was kayaking lighthouse lakes, one of the most memorable trips we ever had. He only does boat now but would be a good option.

Did you all head down to baffin?

I'm a redfish guide (fly and soft plastics) that fishes out of Port A that focuses on sight casting in skinny water. Not sure if you're looking to throw bait, but if not I would love to earn your business. For meat hauling trips you can't beat the names mentioned above.

Would love to have you on the boat. PM bite has been tough but they are feeding great in the mornings. My client today has been fishing Port A down to Mansfield since the early 70s. His stories about 9 mile hole are awesome. He got his knee scoped 10 days ago, hopped on the skiff and his first cast he was hooked up. I hope we all still have the drive and passion to get outdoors at his age!
