Looking for feedback on the brand - Blue Diamond.
I'll be buying a trencher attachment for a Kubota SVL series and was looking at land pride vs blue diamond. Your feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I used to work for the parent company of Landpride (Great Plains Mfg). We sell the Blue Diamond brand at my current employer. That being said I don't know a lot about the Landpride trencher other than knowing that Landpride/Great Plains, in general makes some high quality equipment. I never worried about quality when I sold their drills/plows. Blue Diamond is one of our value brands. Quality is decent but not built as heavy or as with much technology as our main Deere products.

Lastly, you might also consider a Deere trencher. I used one last year to trench several hundred yards for water and electrical and it was a beast.

I have no experience with any trenchers for skid steers. However I bought a Blue Diamond heavy duty brush cutter for my skid steer about 8 years ago. It gave me lots of troubles. Hydraulic motor would overheat even though it had a case drain. It just did not hold up like I had hoped. Ended getting a Vemeer cutter and it was great.
Maybe I just got a bad one.
