Is it just me or do they look kind of dumb?

the integrated suppressor look like that has not been normalized- strange look to it, but watching how quiet those are on the youtube video- impressive..

I can build a really nice 6.8, add a can, and have plenty left over for thermal optics.

Any tactical lever action is not going to be worth the amount of money manufacturers are asking. You can get a new stainless lever .44 mag for around $1,200.

I don't understand paying that kind of cash for old technology that doesn't provide any shooting benefits.

The pricing is like it is because you have to buy that new stainless lever .44 mag for around $1,200 on top of which the custom work is done.

There are shooting benefits to suppressed lever guns over semi autos (overall suppression) and over "old technology that doesn't provide any shooting benefits" AKA bolt guns (rate of fire/capacity).

Looks a bit girthy for me to handle though.
