Need help with selecting pop up blind for Turkey hunting. Close friend who's mid 70's and dealing with cancer wants to go Turkey hunting. Don't want cheap but also don't want to pay more than $350 only to have the cows have their way with it.
TIA

I have had decent luck with this blind:

I don't love the windows on it but for a cheap popup blind I left on a platform all year long, it did the job just fine.

Go with the see through blind whatever you do. Absolutely game changer to sitting in a dark cave with 1-2 windows to look out of. Especially for turkey

For the money, these are tough to beat. Bought 5 for Mexico intended to be throw-aways after the season & we just wrapped up a 4th season with them. They take a beating and keep on working.

I'm not a fan of these for a few different reasons, but this is a pretty good deal on a well reviewed blind.

I have a couple, one I bought at Sam's and it included two folding chairs and another one a friend of my left at my place ( I think it's an Ameristep). Both are less expensive, about the same and work fine. Neither have the "see through" feature which I would think would be useful if I was turkey hunting.

My advice FWIW, pay attention to the size of the door, use better stakes and line tensioners (the ones that came with it really were almost useless. Put it on a platform even if it's just a couple pieces of plywood on some landscape timbers on the ground.
TexAgs: as long as we have each other, we will never run out of problems.

I hate hub blinds- I can never remember the sequence for closing them up and end up spending more time trying to figure out how to close them up as I do hunting out of them. Do a Goggle search for Lucky's Hunting Blinds. They are a little bulkier to carry to the woods but are a snap to set up and even better they are a snap to take down. The one I have now replaced the one I used for probably 15 years- this one I have used for six or seven years.

I bought a Tidewe blind last year for deer season. They have three sides you can see through and have been great. You can zip two of them together to create a larger bling with more room. Pricing is pretty good on them too.
