Texas A&M Campus Muster April 21st at 7:00 PM, REED ARENA

Aggie Muster is one of Texas A&M's most cherished traditions. Held each year on April 21st, it's a day where we come together to honor the lives of Aggies who have passed and reunite with the 50th-year class. With ceremonies held in over 300 locations worldwide, the largest takes place on campus in Reed Arena. During the Roll Call, the names of fallen Aggies are readand someone answers "Here" for each, symbolizing that they are never forgotten.

We want to hear from y'all!

What has been the most meaningful or impactful moment you've experienced during Aggie Muster?

Share your story in the comments - whether it's a memory from campus, a local Muster, the 50th reunion, or a moment that made you feel the power of the Aggie Spirit!

Answering the roll call for my wife in 2013. She died in Corpus, but my daughter (A Batt '10) and I went back to Uvalde for Muster, where we lived for so long and had so many Aggie friends.

Calling out " Here" for two of my old roommates that were groomsmen in my wedding and truly two of my best friends ever. I miss them every, single, day.

The Muster year my dad passed, not only was his name called and I answered for him at my local Muster, but my old roommate had it called at his Muster in Tampa, a coworker of my sister had it called at her dad's Muster in Alabama, and my daughter had it called at her Muster in Galveston. Those things meant something to me.

I remember going to Muster in Moore County all throughout my childhood. In a way, it was my introduction to Aggie traditions. I didn't appreciate it at the time, but it was very special. It was a small club of mostly farmers - very decent, salt-of-the-earth type folks. We'd share a meal together, and I'd get to hear stories. I can hear my grandad (c/o '55) laughing if I think about it hard enough and that makes me smile. I sure do miss him...

I was in junior high when bonfire fell. I do remember that Muster pretty vividly. When we got to the ceremony part, it was almost heartbreaking to watch this gang of tough men and women talk about it with lumps in their throats and tears in their eyes. It was one of those experiences that helped me understand how amazing the Aggie network is.

I hate to say it, but my first time to attend Muster as a student, it almost felt like a letdown. The ceremony in College Station is an amazing tradition, but for me, it will never beat those small, personal gatherings that we had.

Last minute decided to go with my roommate back in college. They announced there was a special guest, I was thinking it was Robert Gates because he was sitting there and had just left to work SoD. No, they beam the spotlight right through my roommate and I and it stops a few rows back. Former President Bush and Barbara were sitting right behind us. It was surrell moment just seeing the pres sitting there a few rows away.

Yes - that's a name I haven't heard in a long time.

I'm pretty sure you know my family - my grandmother, was an artist. I think you have one of her paintings

I told my son the other night that the best thing about being an Aggie is that somewhere, someplace, a fellow Ag will call out "here" and light a candle in remembrance of the time you had as Aggies. He will be '30 and I could not be prouder.

Aggie Muster is the ultimate Aggie experience in my opinion. We get wrapped around the axle on sports and other crap, but attending Muster on April 21 makes me proud to be part of a group that holds this tradition in such high honor.

I have 2 - one was a wedding present from your dad or uncle. (B-1 84).

H.B. was the consummate Ag, and I'd have answered the roll call for him anytime.

Ft Worth Aggie Muster 2023. I stood and answered for my dad (Class of '51). One of the best experiences I have every experienced. He was an Old Ag, therefore my spot to answer roll call was pretty much front & center. I was having a difficult time keeping my **** together. It was a surreal feeling with the emotions I had and all eyes were on us. The comfort of having those eyes being mostly Aggies helped me through and difficult to explain. I am so happy I was able to be present, very proud moment

Having the entire family, most of whom are Ags, at the 2019 campus Muster answer here for my grandfather, class of '46. That was really special.
