I love the phrase "Aggies helping Aggies" but Brother, you are one trusting soul. That is an expensive trailer to trust to a complete stranger.

Don't they make these at the Gooseneck factory in Bryan? Would be much closer.

I bought a 42' Hydraulic tilt bed gooseneck from a man west of Balmorhea, Texas about 10 years ago.
I found a hot shot hauler ( he had a dually F350) that hauled it from there to San Antonio for me. Cost me $700 but that's was 10 years ago.
He had all the liability insurance and replacement insurance if something bad happened. Well worth it imho.

How do you buy a trailer without having an idea of how you'll move it around?

I think he just asking someone to deliver it. I'm sure he has his own truck to use it.
