Seems like the consensus on Game Cams is Tactacam Reveal - how does their setup work when you have multiple cameras? Do you have to pay for a separate account for each camera? We currently have an old Cuddeback system (6 cameras) that uses repeaters and sends everything to a home base that send us all the pictures and only $ for 1 subscription.

This tech gets outdated every 2-3 years. Time to upgrade. Yes, Consensus seems to be tactacam. But I'd take a look at the latest spy points with the dual SIM cards. It'll use best cell providers available and switch on the fly.

Also most issues reported are related to power. Be sure to use lithium batteries and consider a backup solar/battery (both brands have good options for solar). I think that's why the tactacam model last season was reporting more success… it had an extra pair of batteries. SPYPOINT upgraded since and new ones are more efficient.

And to your original question, you pay per cam but you can dial back cost or pause during off season.

Just saw spy point has a great bundle deal for flex-m and solar panel for $129. These new ones keep recording while sending so you don't miss any shots. Those solar panels are huge and will keep you going through all weather conditions.

Only real downside of Tactacam is that you have to have a sub for each camera.

Spypoints suck.

Three models ago, I'd agree with you. Again, tech on these is Changing fast. Most of issues I saw was related to poor battery mgmt.

I was running about 10 cams a year and wholesale switched brands three times.

Biggest takeaway is they all had their issues but were constantly being upgraded. Biggest influence on success was properly managing batteries and upgrade every year or two.

Poor picture quality, random disconnect from the cell network and i had issues with water getring inside the cameras. Wont use them again.

Sorry , I edit my above before I saw your response. Not gonna argue they had these problems in the past.

When was the vote? Tactacam is a good camera, however the moultrie mobile would be my pic to run multiple cameras. I own 10 to 12 moultries and 4 tactacams. Cant go wrong but i woukdnt say clear choice is tactacam if running many cameras on different properties

I only have 1 payment each month for all of my tactacams. Most are SK's and one is the new 3.0 pro. I used to upgrade cameras every 1-2 years but not anymore. These have been great and extremely low maintenance

Cuddelink cameras can be paired together. I have 5 cameras running off of 2 cell cams (plans). They're not the best cell cameras, in comparison to tactacam, but being able to daisy chain them is pretty sweet

I have both tactacam and spypoint. Tactacam is a little better for detection, photo receipt and picture but not power. Must run with solar lithium combo or don't bother. A tip on spycam if you run batteries is to wrap the battery case with Teflon tape. The case is crap and the batteries don't make good contact unless you do this. Went from a few weeks to a few months. May upgrade to solar but working good for me know. I only use the 100 free/camera on spy point cause I wasn't sure I would keep them. For tactacam did not think you could combine cameras on a plan and share. Thought it was per camera as well. Relatively new to both cameras.
