We unfortunately said goodbye to our golden retriever recently. We were shocked to find that he was bleeding from tumors and had to put him down same day. He showed virtually no signs until 2-3 days before we had to put him down and the only real signs were him being abnormally lethargic.

All that to say, I am now looking into lab and Golden breeders. We may be getting one of each. If you have recommendations, please send them. Greatly appreciated.

AgVet is a poster on here that breeds labs and I believe has a few left over from a recent litter. No personal experience but the bloodlines look good and I think a few folks on here have their dogs. I'll see if I can find the post.

Labs- you're an English lab owner or an American lab owner. No in between. We are English labs and they are the best dogs . Hunt and love the kids and chill out a lot:

I have one of her pups from last fall. Awesome in the house if you want just a pet but a rockstar full of drive once outside training to hunt. Can't recommend enough.

I had it perfect last time. I had a half American half English lab and he'll forever be the best dog I ever had.

Cadron Ridge labs in Arkansas. Pancho is an English lab, the sweetest dog with so much personality. Best boy you'll ever meet. Cisco is 3/4 English, 1/4 American got him around Floresville. He's a sweet boy, much more active than Pancho.

So sorry for your loss. Cancer can suck it!!!
I have 2 yellow males and 2 chocolate males that will be available end of September. Fully health tested and great bloodlines. Temperament of these pups is amazing. Let me know if you would like more info.

We got our golden from here: https://www.diamondredranchgoldens.com/
He is an awesome dog. Super chill, but still active and fun. Not much hunting drive in him. He doesn't do much retrieving. He is much better at holding down the couch and playing with my kids. Perfect dog for my family.

Another vote for Cadron Ridge just north of Little Rock…. Excellent breeder
Rudder is 6 mos and will be pushing 100 lbs when fully mature.

English labs have a lot of lazy in them, but they're still maniacs. My current one is easily the most high maintenance and difficult retriever I've ever owned, despite the fact that he sometimes can't be bothered to stand and will eat lying down on his side.
