I am looking carefully at these blinds. They look really well made and probably worth it but it's a $10k deer blind and I'm just trying to make sure there isn't some other blind out there for half price that's on the same level.

This is going to be on my property and I like the idea of it being a "lifetime" option

Texas wildlife supply and atascosa are about 1/3 that price.

Do you feel like they are of similar quality?

You won't find a cooler stand for early season sunny day hunts than the chingon

Yes. I would choose them over the tank blind even if they were the same price. I'm currently building my own budget tower blind though.
If I was going to drop some coin I'd get the Texas Wildlife Supply Monster Blind.

I'll 2nd. Texas Wildlife Supply Blinds. Really built well and well thought out. The guy that owns them had a large ranch by Brady and went into business because he was tired of feeders and blinds that don't last.

This.

Agreed. Best value and a quality product. The deer feeders are the real deal as well

Thank you. Any clue on pricing? I'll call tomorrow to check.

By the way when I say the tank blind is 10 I mean delivered and installed with a 10' tower.

Also, is there any kind of standard guidance on recommended height of tower?

Seems like 10' is pretty good middle ground. But just curious if it's just based on how far you want to see/shoot?

Probably where I will be the shots will likely be max 150 yards.

Also I'm torn on whether or not I should have bow windows. I don't currently now hunt much but to make it future proof seems nice. But I do wonder if it's better to just have a smaller tree stand for a bow hunt anyways.

It's all personal preference. The 5x7 on an 8' tower is pretty common and popular. The Texas trophy hunter show last week was probably a good time to buy. Lots of info on their website.

Look up krivoman blinds

$1200 and will be what your looking for - rifle or bow friendly. 8' I believe at the base

Kinda depends on your hunting environment on height. Sometimes a 10' or 15' tall blind will be too high and you won't be able to see well if the surrounding trees are that height. Sometimes a 5' tower is better as you can see under the trees.
Every spot has its particular needs.

I have one of these I got about 9 years ago. It is very comfortable. Back then, they were around $3500 which included a 12' stand and delivery. Be sure to get the window hoods. They do a great job of keeping the rain out.
So the greatest civilization is one where all citizens are equally armed and can only be persuaded, never forced. It removes force from the equation... and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

$10k for this tank blind is a steal...
Quarterback can't throw the ball lying on his back.

So I'm now leaning toward going with the all seasons feeders blind. The mas Clingon version is 8'x8' and seems to be solidly made. Large enough for me and my three boys as they grow up to all hunt in it.

What has me looking at it is the vents it has supposedly make the temps much cooler if it's warm outside.

Any thoughts or feedback?

Thank you for pointing this one out. Seems like it might be the winner.

I've tried most of the name brands and nothing compares to these as far as temperature control. Also assembly in field is fairly simple (assuming you have equipment with fork lift attachment)

If you are near San Antonio I can point you to my dealer that will work with you on price. Just dm me
