How long do you want to ignore this user?
I just picked up the suppressor today, but when I try to screw on the direct thread mount that it came with, I can only get it to turn a couple of times. It would take some wrenching to get it to go any further than shown below. Anyone have any thoughts?

oh nevermind. i see the mount won't go into the suppressor. check the threads inside the suppressor.

Also, are you confident they're threaded the same? If they are close it'll go in a couple turns then stop.

that's what i was originally asking him. but, then i realized the mount is from Huxwrx. they could have sent him the wrong thread pitch.

It's the Huxwrx direct thread hub that came with it, so I believe so. Let me confirm...

First time I tried to thread my adapter into a Flow Ti, it was not an easy assembly and it felt gravelly. I think the 3d printing & machining process leaves small debris inside that needs to get cleaned out /burned off while shooting.

That said, mine wasn't a fine thread hub mount, it was the acme style qd thread. I just forced it on and off a few times to clean it out. I would try to remove it and get some solvent and a toothbrush and try to make sure you don't have any junk in the threads. Could also get some thread lube for first assembly to see if that helps.

It's crazy how hard it is to find huxwrx mounts right now

If it's HUB mount you're in search of there shouldn't be a need to stick with only Huxwrx. Ecco Machine is a good option but also suffers from having popular items OOS since it's a small operation.

I put a Keymod adapter on my Huxwerks Ventum. It's the generic hub threading.

If you are in BCS I have a few Hub threaded adaptors you could try.

Did you get this sorted out? Image looks like it's cross threaded.
Ventum was a really snug to thread on hub the first time then smoothed out. Just make sure your threads are clean. Try loosely threading all the way by hand a few times.
