For those of you who wear hats, do you know of a good place to have them cleaned?

Mine needs cleaning.

One local rancher I know used to send his to to a place in Colorado, but the guy there retired. So he's interested, too.

they worked on my grandpas old hat from the 50s and got it looking fanstastic

Last time I was in Catalina's there was a sign in there that said they would only clean hats that they sold.

Not sure if that is still their policy.

My yes! Ricky did a sock hop in George West ( my HS) in the late 50's during his first stint at KTSA when they were Rock n Roll. Remember Don French, another DJ?

I wonder how well they can do with hats that suffered smoke damage in a fire.

A few months ago, one brother in a local family passed away. On the day of his funeral, his older brother's house caught on fire and killed the older brother.

I was talking to the older brother's daughter yesterday and she said that he had quite a collection of hats but they all suffered smoke damage. She was wondering if anyone could clean the hats enough to get rid of the smoke.
