Does anyone have recommendations on a guide for a flounder gigging trip in mid May? Me and some buddies are doing a last minute bachelor trip down there and are trying to find something. Any recommendations on fishing in the area are welcome too! FYI we will be staying near Sargent so East Matagorda is where we will be!

Captain Rick is out of Rockport. Not sure if he ranges that far north, but if not he would likely have a recommendation. Good luck!

I grew up with Matt. His Dad was floundering Matagorda on the regular since we were babies. He will know every inch of Matagorda. Great guy, and fun to be around.

Eric Winstandley does gigging trips, not sure if he goes to Matty or just stays in Christmas and West Bays though. Great guy, know him personally.
