Staying at the state park for 4 days with the kids. Have a jon boat and plan to try to run to the mouth of creeks looking for white bass.

Any fishing tips out here?

Crappie should be spawning in creeks about now. Hit brush along steep banks in about 2 feet of water.

Crappie should be in the creeks as previously stated and in the stumps around snake island. Could float a few drifting jugs could pick you up a few catfish as well. I would imagine whites are in the main lake at this point.
