Figured the outdoor guys might have some advice on a good nice looking recliner. I know it's not outdoors but everybody likes to relax.

I am looking for a recliner that my wife will allow in our living room that also has all the features like electric recline, lumber, head rest adjust, and heat/massage if that exists in a chair like this. I need controls to be on inside of chair and plug to be under neath the chair. Does this exist?

We just spent an ungodly amount on a couple of recliners from Pottery Barn and they have none of those features, but they are up to my wife's design standards. I don't hate sitting in them.

Consider a zero-gravity chair such as a Hale, Perfect Chair, Human Touch, etc...

Getting out of an electric recliner in a timely fashion is nearly impossible. Also, heaven forbid a power outage or simply a cord becoming unplugged at its connection point in the chair creates tons of hassle. At least in my experience.

Agreed. I'll never own another electric controlled recliner. It's hard to storm out of the room when you're waiting on the recliner to WHRRR its way down!

Looking for a recliner. Our current one is La-Z-Boy, and is pricey! Looking for good quality in the $1-2K range. Anyone got a suggestion?

Not sure if they will fit in your price range or not, but Amish Craftsman Furniture in Houston has some really beautiful and really comfortable recliners. Price will depend somewhat on if you are looking for full upholstered or craftsman style, what wood you go with (on a craftsman style), and how much automation you want. We have two of their craftsman recliners in Brown Maple with Aggie maroon leather and they are super comfortable. They also have some swivel glider rockers that are very comfortable as well. They pretty frequently do sales where you can get 10-20% off the price, so look for those on their website.

The owners (Steve and Kim) are both Aggies and are really great people. It has been fun to watch their success as a store from the time we first bought furniture from them nearly 20 years ago.

there is no such thing as a recliner your wife will allow you to have in her living room. You need a man cave.

If your wife won't "let" you have any recliner in the living room, you need a different wife.

The most comfortable recliner I've ever sat in is made by Hancock & Moore. But they are pricy, costing north of $3K.
