Who makes left handed semi auto shotgun these days? My last 2 have been Benelli SBE 1 & 2 with 26" barrels. Benelli SBE3 comes lefty but only with 28" barrel and hard to come by.

Who else makes a lefty I should look at? I have liked the inertia driven action and never had any problems (also I am not the most diligent about cleaning). Not opposed to a gas operated but haven't shot one in years.

Any recs appreciated.

I like my Beretta A400. And comes with a camo pattern that isn't strictly duck based. Got with MO bottomlands. My 1st lefty gun.

If you like the benelli I would stay with an sbe3. The berettas have the safety in the wrong place on front of the trigger guard and they come up and balance wrong for me.
Try a search on kygunco.com to see if they have the left handed with 26 inch barrel. Great company and price usually.

Also check reedsgunsandammo.com to see what they have for the SBE3 or other lefty

The safety on the Beretta's is super easy to get used to. Like you don't even think about it after the first few times you pull up to shoot. I shot Remingtons my whole life and the Beretta A300 is the best shotgun I've ever owned.

If you like inertia guns, Franchi makes a lefty 28". My son got one before bird season and used it a lot. I have 2 Franchi's in 12 ga and one 20, so love the gun. Only complaint I have with my son's gun is the lefty model only comes blued, so duck season at the coast was a little inconvenient for the surface deposits and he is getting it coated in the off season. But the gun ran great in the field and at the coast.

I got a Franchi Affinity in LH about 10 years ago that's served me well. The safety is behind the trigger in the right spot.

Really liked the new ones I handled recently. My son has one in 20 gauge that he's had for 8 or so years and it's been a great bird gun.

Not a lefty but +1 for Franchi
