1. How often do these show up in stock? Any way to get alerts?
2. Have you run it suppressed? Without the compensator?
3. Any particular P320 variant that you recommend? Or did you just go with what you had?
4. Do you like the thing, or is it more of a novelty item (that I still want)?

My question is how to rounds load into the chamber, does it have a pistol style action or an AR style action?

A Sig 320 FCU in a Flux Raider X chassis. They sell braced versions too but I already sbr'd a 320 fcu for a B&T chassis a couple years ago so I bought the SBR version and just dropped it into this instead for now. GarandThumb did a video on his:

Answered above but its a Sig 320 Fire Control Unit dropped into a chassis. The magazine you see up front is a feature of the chassis, but the gun uses a Sig 320 slide and feeds from the pistol grip like a normal pistol. The forward magazine is just a quick reload. It actually has a neat feature for that: hit the paddle release behind the forward magazine in the "not a vertical foregrip" mostly vertical foregrip and both magazines drop at once, so you can reload very quickly.

1) I think they have a facebook group that updates before new drops. I saw a "restock on this date/time" post on their Instagram account. I assume the braced versions sell out quickly, I didn't have any trouble grabbing an SBR model.

2) I haven't run it suppressed yet, that's next range trip. I have shot that slide on a pistol frame with the Mod9sk and it ran okay so hopefully it runs well. I have run it without the comp as well.

3) I initially bought a surplus used 320 Carry to SBR a few years ago to drop into a B&T chassis, and that's the FCU and slide I'm using. I have heard from others that the carry size slides are easier to get running suppressed than the longer ones. Only problem is you need a threaded barrel or comp on a carry sized slide to keep from chewing up the chassis by being too short for it.

4) I could write a whole separate thread on whether or not a civilian pdw type gun is useful, but the very short version is that yes, I like it and have hopes it will serve a functional purpose besides just fun but still shaking it out.

One of my favorite parts too.

They're good people.

The NFA is stupid and has killed a lot of potential innovation on stuff like pistol caliber pdws.

AimSurplus has police trade in 320s right now for $350. That plus a flux gets you a compact little pdw for under 1,000.

Just in case anyone was encouraged by this thread to make bad decisions.

Anyone tried one of these?

Would you mind updating this? How did it run suppressed, and would you go with the 320 Carry again? I've seen a mixed bag of reviews regarding barrel lengths running suppressed.

Havent had the chance, been messing with compensator issues/options, and kids have been sick…and im out of town some soon too so…..

Ill update when I can, planning to try 147s, hot 124s and weak 124s, all direct thread and on a 3 lug with both the mod9sk and an obsidian in long and short configs.

Can hopefully update before March. In the meantime theres a google sheets doc you can find on the flux fb that has a bunch of crowd sourced data on what combos have and havent worked.

Excellent. I've seen the GS Dock, but it mainly seems to show that every config runs fine. Maybe a spring tune. Unless I'm missing something.

Your configurations are of interest, especially the Obsidian with 147s.

Thats a Sig Rattler upper on my Sig MCX lower. Minimalist folding stock, red dot in a UKON mount woth built in buis. 5.5" 300blk barrel.

MCX uses an AR-18 style bolt and dual recoil spring assembly so no need for a buffer tube and can fire folded. Changing stocks is one T-27 torx bolt, changing barrels and calibers is two bolts. I can go from 16" 5.56 down to 6.75" 300blk with my virtus upper, or if i want as small as possible swap over to the rattler upper.

My favorite way to set up the MCX is with a tucked suppressor and a SD handguard in 300blk.
