Been looking for 6mm Remington, specifically 100-grain Core Lokt, and cant find any. For the not-available or out-of-stock listings online, I see prices ranging from $2-$3/round. Anybody know what is going on here?

After this latest covid ammo fiasco, I don't think you'll see a box of hunting rifle ammo below $20/bx no matter the caliber. Manufacturers saw what people paid, and likely won't change price. A new baseline has been set.

Until the 7x57 becomes too old and boring for the public to want ammo for. How many new 7mm cartridges have come out in the past few years? There was a thread here just the other day about the 7mm PRC, another solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

7x57 isn't going anywhere. The sheer number of milsurps provides sufficient demand for new production. It may not be a popular as it once was but it will stick around.
That's a good resource and I will bookmark it for future use and other calibers. Unfortunately they don't have the specific kind of 6mm I was looking for. I'm trying to match the ammo I already have, and with which my rifle is already sighted-in.2wealfth Man said:
Call Plinkers in Brenham, they carry lots of hard to find ammo.

That is not true. I have it on good authority that White House Staff has brought in a geologist and a medical doctor to review flash cards in the Oval Office specifically geared towards learning the difference between a bodily orifice and a hole in the ground. Alas, progress seems slow.AgEng06 said:SanAntoneAg said:

Lol. The guy that doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground?
Don't own one anymore, but still gave reload dies. PM me if you want them and anything else 6MM I have.Buck Turgidson said:
