This is pretty ingenious of them though. They don't mention assault rifle, AR15, etc. just use an obtuse description and hope they can pass it through without riling up opposition.

Trying to be sneaky

First ban bill I've read that shows any kind of understanding of how a firearm operates. Actually kind of worrying.

They specify those types of actions within the bill as well, the name of the bill is very misleading. Ian at Forgotten Weapons posted a short on YouTube talking about the bill, he rarely gets into political stuff on his channel, but it was a big enough deal that he wanted to put something out about it.



A quote from the above -

Half the people voting for this probably look at the title, think it's about gasoline-operated firearms, and get excited to strike a blow against climate change.

How will this bill prevent the bad guys from using the kind of weapons this bill is trying to restrict? Only people I see affected are law abiding citizens...

It has never really been about stopping bad guys to them….they just use that as a smoke screen to add to their infamous "common sense gun laws" they are always spewing out.
The bad guys are us…. The law abiding peasants they rule over and are scared of. Goal is to disarm. Anybody that does realize that by now is very naive.
Remember the famous statement Diane Fienstine said:
" If I could I would say Mr. and Mrs. America turn them all in. "

They were dumb to include "exclusion" into the wording to have a fun buzzword of GOSAFE.

The second that you exclude from a guaranteed right you're looking at a bill that will be ruled unconstitutional even if it was to pass.

Foreign words to them…. Or as Hillary Clinton said….out of date…needs to be rewritten. Does not mean what we think it does.
