It has been wet out near the Ozona area recently. Two weeks ago it slowly rained a total of 3/4 inch of rain over a few days and then on Sunday/Monday another 3/4 of an inch.
So, with some soaking rains and cool temperatures I hadn't been able to get out and get off the caliche roads to finish topping off feeders.
Seems like it was designed to be because I had a great buck run in front of me, while in the truck, at about 2pm when I definitely wasn't expecting to see anything. Wasn't able to get great pictures of him but luckily was able to snap some as he ran away. Guess he wasn't chasing after a doe and acting dumb but he was one of those bucks you see for just a little bit and instantly know, "oh that's a good one!"

But, his brother, a nice wide 10 pt was acting dumb and chasing a doe near the feeder after 4pm, so he gave me some great pictures. Only saw him for maybe 15 to 20 minutes before he followed his lady. Didn't come back after the feeder went off so who knows if I'll see him again but was a pleasant surprise to see two good bucks, in close range to each other, within a couple hours! Working on getting those pictures uploaded with starlink and will update when theyre done.
