I got this one a couple years back, it seemed to get decent reviews and is fairly big. I know it's not the nicest, but I figured if a thief wants in then they will get in regardless. Echo the comment about tractor supply Black Friday sales, they usually have some nice discounts

Potentially dumb question: Do any of you boys worry about the electronic locks failing on these newer safes?

I'm kinda partial to old school combination locks.

I don't.....

I've had mine for 10+ years, it starts beeping to give you ample time to replace batteries.

Eh, whatever. I bought a cannon from costco that was $500 and it is great. Never tested, but never failed. That price point, they are all the same from china.

I thought most of them have backup keys...but I could be wrong.

They should be posting soon but it is a 36 gun Cannon in the Forney area. Brand new in box. I THINK they were looking for $350 but not 100% sure on the price.

The reviews on that biometric safe from academy do not sound good. It's one thing to have an electronic keypad but to have only a finger print and a key seems dumb to me.

Maybe that's why it's on sale. I agree, I would rather not have a biometric pad. I knew it was electronic, but forgot it was biometric.
