What do you guys use to record your deer? I'm currently using a Nikon DSR but thinking about switching to a video recorder. It's a pain have to always reposition my camera at my windows and constantly taking pictures. Think it would be better to record a video

I use my phone.

I use a Panasonic camcorder that can connect to my phone so I can instantly upload the pics to my phone.....I dont remember the model but its been discontinued. I would think as long as it has that feature you will be happy with it.

I've got a Sony camcorder I use but it's near the end of its life. Been looking at another model but can't decide if the knock off Amazon ones are worth trying.

I got one of these for an Ozonics (per the recommendation of another poster here) and it also works on camcorders. Much easier than setting up a tripod in the blind.

I usually use my phone or my DSLR. But if you want a second device just get one of the Sony handycams that is like ~250. I have one that I use sometimes. Good zoom. Smaller than a DSLR. Cheap.

Ya I'm thinking about switching from the dslr to a camcorder. The tripod takes up a lot of space, while having two kids in the blind, and then having to switch windows. If I'm recording video, I can clamp to the window easy and then screenshot images on the playback
