Anyone ever looked into or done a Hawaii bow hunt? Any good recs out there?


Obviously saw the Rinella Meat Eater awhile back but have always thought it would be fun. Not necessarily the goats but maybe a good axis paired with some pigs as well. Incredible backdrop to hunt in.

I guess the travel and any meat/trophy shipping would be $$$$.

Have not gone yet but planning on next May.

I think they only have boar hunts, but Matt is a good guy who grew up on the Texas coast and hunted the coastal plains.

Going up to Hawaii for 2 weeks have close family members getting married up there. Already booked a rifle wild pig hunt.

I sent Remi Warren a message a few years back after he posted a video of an axis hunt in Hawaii. He sent me some info...he uses Maui Hunting Safari.

Would love to make it happen one day!

Haven't hunted in Hawaii and only ever go to Oahu. Wife was Hawaiian and in-laws live on Oahu. Air fare can be cheap if you take Southwest but you have to change in either Phoenix or the West Coast. From Austin you can fly non-stop to Honolulu on Hawaiian Air for about $100-150 more than SW.

There are also pheasant hunts in Hawaii.

Does spear fishing count as bow hunting?
