I have been looking at some of these brand new. They are within my price range but just have some questions for any owners.

I am looking for something for ranch work and hunting. Terrain is not very hostile. Some sand and can be a steep climb here or there. Maybe light pulling or a loaded bed. I like the 1000 but can't seem to justify the price difference there. Any feedback is appreciated.

This. Have a 2018 and 2019 and have been flawless. Factory warranty should tell you what you need to know between Mule Pro and Ranger.

My Polaris ranger 570 is 9 years old and I have had zero problems out of it. All I have done is regular oil changes.

I've had four Polaris rangers since 1999. All were 500s until the latest model and it's a 570.

Probably fine for what you're doing.

But I have to say that each model is of lesser quality than the previous one and I won't buy another one.

This year I bought a mule pro from another TexAgs member and it is 5x the vehicle for every application with the exception of speed. Rangers are fast.

Thanks for the information. Will start looking into the Mule as well.

Just bought a fullsize Ranger 570 crew, to add to the '16 570 reg cab. The 570 makes a lot of power, never seems lacking. 5000+ miles on the '16, never in for repairs, but some maintenance needed (front axle shaft, rear shock), done by us.
Biggest gripe on the new Ranger is the shi*#y shifter, finding Reverse requires patience, so it will see a return trip to the dealer. Otherwise it's fast, great ride.
Kawasaki's were harder to come by, when we went shopping.

As someone who's owned a mule pro and a ranger i'd say Mule Pro all the way.

nothing wrong with the Polaris at all, but the mule is such. better ride. Polaris' always feel like they're working real hard and stressing the belts. Hard to explain. but the mule just glides better.

Are you wanting to buy new? i may have a mule pro i'm thinking about selling

I've got a 570 crew and a Mule Pro Diesel

My understanding is that the 570 is considered a 4 passenger (mid size) and the Mule pro is a 6 passenger (full size)

The 570 is probably more comparable to the Kawasaki 4010

My only complaint with the 570 is that I am 6'4" and have cut/scraped my knee getting in and out a few times by hitting it on the door jamb

The 570 has a much bigger bed than the mule pro unless you collapse the 2nd row of the mule
