Problem is that it's in Inez, which isn't exactly convenient to most folks.
Smoking good price though, wish that was the going rate everywhere.

Corn futures are down roughly 10% YOY. It's also looking like basis isn't going to be too strong this year for new crop.
That would be my thought as well, looking at their other products they sell, it's likely they reject any trucks that are high aflo coming in before they dump. Almost everybody tests the load before it's dumped so seems unlikely they'd all of a sudden be caught with a quality they cant move and need to discount.Quote:
I also would find it very unlikely that they are selling it for cheap because of high aflo. It would be against the law to sell it as deer corn at high levels.
$9.50 per 50 lb. bag at Brown's Feed Store in Lampasas. Corn is not real "clean" typically if that's important to you.jpb1999 said:
Any good prices in the Lampasas/San Saba/Brady areas?

Where do you see that at? Their website only shows seasoning products and not physical address?

Family just purchased a property, so this is our first year having to buy corn for our own feeders. How do you tell if the corn is "clean?"

I hope prices are dropping now that corn is being harvested and stacked for deer season. It was $11.99/bag at Mummes in Hondo last weekend of July…
