How long do you want to ignore this user?
Headed to the Keys next month and looking for suggestions for a Tarpon, Snook, Permit guide. I fish artificial and don't care to keep fish. I thought I saw TarponChaser post on another thread about someone he knew down there? I did reach out to my Everglades buddy but he didn't know anyone to recommend. Any direction is greatly appreciated!

Recommending guides is a slippery slope. You can probably get some (no doubt) good recommendations on here, but I'd be more inclined to trust the locals since they are doing this for a living and are not vacationing posters.

Florida Keys Outfitters is where I would start.

Another good shop to contact would be Islamorada Fishing Outfitters (https://islamoradafishingoutfitters.com/).

You can trust Aggies who may have had a good or bad trip, or you can trust with Keys guides who know the tides, temps, etc relevant to when you will be there.

Fishing ENP backcountry and Florida Bay are incredible experiences.

Good luck!

Capitan John Smouse is Key West is fantastic.

Most fun I have ever had on a fishing trip was in his boat
