Are there any good places to access rivers like the Brazos or Navasota that are fairly good access points for bank fishing? Living near CS and just looking to bank fish for some cats..
Thanks

Near navasota Hwy 105 crosses them both within about 3/4 mile of distance.

My ancestors were in Robertson County. They would fish the Navasota River where the OSR crossed it. There is a road there down to the river.

When I was a lot younger, my grandfather and I would park on the Robertson County side of the bridge at Port Sullivan (FM 485) and walk south, sometimes all the way to across from where the Little River comes in. Also we would go to Black Bridge (FM 979 west of Calvert) on the Milam County side and go north. You can also get to the river at Valley Junction on Hwy 79 but it's a bluff bank on both sides and not easy to fish.
