What's the best weed killer to use on Virginia Creeper? Those are the biggest intruders. What's something I can just spray all over everything to kill it? Prefer something I can hook up to a water hose and broadcast it everywhere. The pump sprayers take way too long to treat such a large area, and it's only 115 degrees outside right now.

We pull them. But we have 3 teenagers we can put to work.

Yeah, I don't have the cheap labor and I'm old. My back won't hold up to hand-pulling weeds. I'm looking for a lazy way to just spray everything and be done with it. We don't have any flowers that I have to worry about.

For the last, we've used about 5% Roundup in a tray, and a paint roller to apply. Roll slowly, so you don't send spatter onto the desirables. You could also use a paintbrush, a rag, or wear cotton gloves over disposable gloves. Soak your hand and wipe the weeds

The only other things we have in the flowerbeds are a really large crepe myrtle (20'+), schefflera, and a couple of other really large bushes that I have no idea what they are. Will the roundup kill those even if I just spread it around the base and try my best not to spray directly on them?

Cut a plastic water bottle in half. Fashion that around the tip of your sprayer. Cover weed and spray. They also make premix in sprayers with a similar attachment

Yep. Have a sprayer of it ready at all times. Twice a week I spend 10 minutes going around the property spraying every little emergent weed. I never have to pull weeds by hand.

Amazes me the people that spend a whole weekend pulling weeds then don't lift a finger for 3 months and then spend another whole weekend pulling them again.

Guilty. We paid someone to clean out the flowerbeds several months ago. I was good at staying on top of it for a few months and then I let it go and it just got out of control.

Here is your solution. Get one sprayer and a bottle of concentrate Round Up. Mix as instructed. One gallon should last multiple sprays. As said already just have it in storage and pull out , do a walk through, and done

If you just hit the bark of a tree and no foliage, it shouldn't hurt. And it is essentially deactivated when it hits soil.

Correct. That why I said spot spray. Quick burst of liquid is all you need. Not give the entire bed a shower

Manually remove the weeds or kill them with an appropriate herbicide. Spray the garden with Prodiamine 65 pre emergent. Spraying two or three times a year will keep your garden weed free. It doesn't harm living plants. You can buy it on Amazon.
