Has anyone tried hanging deer mounts in a covered patio? Will the humidity and heat rot them out?

I would have thought the same with humidity, heat, etc. but I have a dozen or more old mounts in a barn that are no worse for wear except some fading on some of the really old ones. Probably would have faded in the house as well with their age.

What about ducks? I've got too many and not enough room. Would be great to out them up in my shop or on my upstairs covered patio.

I have several ducks, geese, pheasant and two turkeys in same barn and no issues. Barn is enclosed most of time though.
