If you were going to build a new elk /mountain rifle in 7mm PRC, how would you spec it out? Action, barrel, trigger, stock, brake, scope, etc. I'm looking for ideas. Thank you!

I hunt with silencers in Texas but if I go to CO or MT or UT to hunt I'm not sure that's possible.

I just had a 300 wm built on a stainless model 70 classic action bartlein 2b with a bansner stock. I went with 24" but may eventually cut to 22" if I like hunting with a suppressor. I really considered a 7prc but didn't want to wait for the 7mm barrel as I already the .308 in my safe for years.

Will top it with a z5 Swarovski.

MT is definitely possible.

Barrel no longer than 20inches. But you are good to go down to 18. Lightweight suppressor. Smoke em.
