I'm thinking about putting a custom bumper on my AT4 with a winch. Anyone know of a good shop in Houston?

I have a good Ranchhand bumper in my half ton GM. It's been deer tested and approved.

It's designed to be lighter than others but still really strong. So far so good.

Your garage… when did it become so difficult to put bolt on parts on a truck?

I think I have the same one from Ranch Hand on my 2018 F150. Mine is 5 years old and is really starting to rust through the powder coat. The finish quality on this one isn't what it was on my 2004 bumper from Ranch Hand. After this experience I may give any brand a try on my next vehicle. Besides the rust, I have no complaints.

With parking sensors, fog lights, lane departures, cruise control etc. It can still be done in the garage but it's not just bolts any more.

I do all or most of my own work but I also just cost myself an extra $180 and 3 down days because I broke a fuel filter return line fitting when doing a fuel filter change on my f250 6.7.

Think Frontier is or was partially owned by an Ag. That and Ranch Hand seem to be most common. South Texas Outfitters also has their own line I've heard good things about.

I recommend HAMMERHEAD PRE-RUNNER WINCH FRONT BUMPER! Light wieght but still very tough and they look real good. As for a shop, I use 4Wheel Parts.

I thought the front bumper and rear hitch WERE the parking sensors. No?

As my buddy likes to joke "just keep backing up until you hear glass, then pull forward an inch."

I bought a used Ranch Hand front bumper for my 2010 F250. When I tried to install it, I discovered that it was missing some brackets or something. I had to drag the welder out to get it on. It is solid as a rock now. It will not be easy to take back off if that time ever comes.
So the greatest civilization is one where all citizens are equally armed and can only be persuaded, never forced. It removes force from the equation... and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

Ya I don't have the time to do it myself. I think the ranch hands include the front grill? I am thinking about something more compact and modern looking, like the one below

Also, will I sacrifice my sensors?

Looks like it has holes for sensors.

No sacrifice, but when they quote install make sure that they put in writing they will install them too. Just bought biz partner a new f350 and dealing with the same thing.
Always the most goodest
