This is all I needed to hear. It's a scam.

You have to have a FOID card to purchase ammo/guns in IL.

Well, alrighty then, I sure thank you for the heads up, O.G. I won't be buying from those jokers!

Within the last three months I have bought two handguns and several boxes of ammo from Locked & Loaded out of Pana, Illinois. No FOID card needed if they are shipping out of state.

I don't know anything about Cheap Ammo Store though it does appear they are associated with Sega Ammo Shop which has several negative reviews.

The broken images, wrong email address, and code snippets on the front page should be enough to scare you off. If you go thru to purchase, you'll see they only accept zelle, paypal as gift, bitcoin, venmo, and cashapp. So yes, definitely a scam

You be careful dealing with IL, on anything firearm related. The governor is trying to establish himself nationally and is trying to get body armor & every gun you can imagine banned.

Fully expect to see them auditing gun stores etc etc. There are some good people (I actually know here Pana is, very near a project area & have been in that gun store) but I've been here two years now and I don't even buy anything remotely gun related in this state.

The president of the company himself delivered some hatchets that I was giving as gifts. He was going to be driving very near where I live and said it would just be faster if he brought them. So, we shot the breeze for about 30min. I asked why he doesn't leave this state and he said his kids were here.

dead giveaway. I always check BBB when a deal looks to good to be true - it always is too good and a scam
