I havn't paid attention to TJ prices recently. But agree with above posters that I would not pursue the 4 cyl models unless its going to be a purely deer camp lease jeep. Any substantial highway driving or serious offroading and you're going to be unhappy. It looks likes its been run hard, assuming the power train still runs good, I would be worried about all the misc. stuff you'll be on the hook to fix. Water pump, clutch, alternator, starter, fuel pump, rotten hoses. Also look for modifications to the electrical systems. I wouldn't pay more than $4,500 for that.
