I'm looking for recommendations for an AR scope mount. The rifle will be a Ruger SFAR. The scope is a Vortex Viper HS 4-16x44. I intend to also run a suppressor once the ATF overlords give me permission.

My scoped 5.56 AR is running a LaRue LT104 QD cantilever mount. I don't think I need the QD capability in this case, but love the LT mount.

What are some scope mount recommendations for an AR w/ suppressor?

I run the LaRue mounts on my other AR's but on my SFAR I have one of the Leupold Mark AR 1-piece mounts. Though I will say there is good chance that on my next order to LaRue I may include another LT204 to swap out the Mark AR. Nothing is wrong with the Leupold just like the LaRue better!

Thanks. Any reason to go with the higher version of the LT104, the LT135, due to the suppressor? I don't think the suppressor will make a difference in visibility through the standard LT104, but I don't have much experience with it.

Aero Precision is a solid AR mount for the money, I've got two and they perform as they should.

The 204 isn't a higher version I don't believe, this model changed up the reinforcement design and adds the click adjust nut.

Right. The 204 is the same height as the 104, it just has a different QD adjustment mechanism.

The LT135 is a higher version of the 104.

ADM mounts are really good.

I have a couple of Burris PEPRs I like a lot. I have a couple no-name PEPR clones as well. The clones are just a little rougher but hold zero as well as the PEPRs. All are lapped with the Wheeler tool.
