OK, I am fully aware these are no longer 'in style'. Apparently, our Catahoula also knows since she proceeded to pick it off my side table and chew it to pieces. She spared the credit cards and licenses, which was nice, but the only cash left was a partially chewed 5 dollar bill. I had at least 40 in the wallet near as I can recall, of which there is nary a trace of. Guess well find out tomorrow morning.

So, though these are most out of style, I still prefer them as they are more comfortable in the saddle since they allow my 'wallet stuff' to take on a thinner life in my pocket.

While the old Ariat lasted over 10 years, I would not mind having a slightly nicer one. Are there any Ags that you guys know of that produce a relic such as this?

Thanks for the info on Holick's. I totally forgot about those. It did not occur to me that they would or could make one without a logo. Frankly, they are incredibly reasonably priced as well.

Have you considered a front pocket wallet? You would be amazed at how much you can fit in a ridge, or clone that fits easily in your front pocket.

Went with this after carrying a full size wallet forever. Card holder on each side so DL, insurance card and a CC all fit without being stuffed. Folded in half, plenty of room for 10 or more cash bills. Carry in front pocket now and will never go back to a big wallet.

The way it's stitched to access the center cash pocket is genius. It's so much easier than accessing a pocketed that's stitched on three sides.

For y'all with front wallets, which pocket do you put it in?

I've always carried my phone in left pocket, keys in right pocket, and wallet in back right pocket. It would seem like too much to add the wallet to either pocket with the phone or keys.

Minimalist here
Slim card wallet in front right
Key fob in front left
Phone in back right (take it out when I sit)

If you're going to walk around with your phone in your back pocket just get a purse for your wallet and be done with it.

I carry it in my back pocket like my old wallet. The difference is I don't feel it when I'm sitting.

To me, the biggest thing about it is it's small and doesn't allow me to stuff a lot of unnecessary things in it, so I only have what I need in it. Given Apple Pay and Google pay are in most places, the need to carry more than 2 credit cards is really unnecessary for most people.

I switched to an M clip about 10 years ago. Give me my ID, super combo, a few cards, and a few Benjamin's and I am good for any situation.

ITS A MAN BAG!

Invest in a good money clip and keep your cash in it .......in your front pocket......poors carry cash in a back pocket wallet .......it would have saved your $40 ....

I keep my DL, LTC, debit, and credit cards in a binder clip in my back pocket.

All my cash is rolled with rubber bands. Typically a plastic grocery bag full. Duffle bag if necessary.
