Really wanting a cheap 300 Black out to keep in the truck. Is the savage axis to cheap, or do I need to go a different route.

They do ,I believe it's the axis ll. They have them at academy. $399, but only comes with a 3 round mag.

If you also have a 300blk AR, Ruger offers a bolt gun that takes AR mags.

Axis ii is what you are looking for. Comes with a 16" heavy barrel. Cabelas had a nice deal on BF. I picked one up for 300 bucks and a cool camo stock.

I have one in Remington Model 7 it is amazing. Extremely quiet with subs and about like a 30-30 with supers. I am not a savage fan, but would be fine I assume.

I have ruger rancher in 300 blk suppressed and it's quiet my 6 year son has killed 7-8 hogs with it this year.
Been very pleased with it had for few years now.

I have the Remington bolt action 300blk out. I bought it about 7-8 years ago for about $800 with a scope. It's been a fun gun to shoot.

Get a 762x39. Similar ballistics and cheap ammo. Subs are readily available if you want to shoot suppressed.

I have a howa mini and Ruger ranch. The howa can lock the bolt closed but I find the Ruger handles better.
