Tried this stuff out. A little expensive but the deer are racing to get to it. Seems to be something they really want. Much more than regular corn.

Waller rice drier is probably who's bagging it. Good bit cheaper if you're ever in the area and they'll mix whatever ratio you want.

That is pretty expensive stuff when you consider it's a 40# bag, that's a $900/ton product. I agree with CS78 and check the elevator price.

yes. it is expensive. They were out of my normal so I grabbed a few bags to pour out and top off a couple feeders. normally I wouldn't have tried that price point. But I was happy to see deer racing to it

What is the protein content on it? With 75% corn and 25% soybeans it can't be all that high I would think. You are paying $0.45/# for it and can get the Record Rack Sportsmans 20 with 20% protein for $0.40/#. Both are expensive, but if I am going to spend the extra, I would go for a higher protein content. We have no issues getting deer (whitetail and axis) to come to the Sportsmans 20.

It may just be the persimmon smell that was working so well. Might not have anything to do with protein content. I typically run apple flavor corn, as I have done experiments and poured out apple vs regular and it they ate all the apple first. Being that I am hunting a cut, and now plowed and planted with wheat, soybean field, they are used to beans as well. I dunno. Just happy to see them hoovering it up.
