East Texas has been rough so far since late October. Guess the cold snap and moon helped get them moving. In the last week I've finally seen the bucks start to frequent one of my spots. This guy keeps showing up at odd hours. All the rest are 8-10's right at the ears, one has to be this guys brother, identical tall narrow rack that doesn't have the G4's yet.

Thinking of shooting this guy but I would like to see him next year. I just don't trust some folks in the area to let him walk if they see him.

He's either 4 with a 9 year old head or 9 with a 4 year old body.

Front shoulders forward he looks like a mature stud.

Behind the front shoulders to rear he looks like 3.5. Which is more than likely attributed to the rut and running does.

I'd say 5.5 at least. Take him.

that's an east Texas stud. unless you are on a high fence or huge lease, I can't imagine anyone else letting him walk and you have much of a chance seeing him again next year.
